UNCOOPERATIVE!

Hi everybody.... Dory here!My human has been uncooperative! I want to blog, she has to work. I want to blog and she wants to go on dates! I want to blog and she says she needs 8 hours of sleep each night!

PHOOHEY!

On the upside dating means me and Mom go hiking and spend time with the world's best ear scruncher -well actually second best next to Uncle Harvey. Mom's boyfriend even let's me help cook when we go over to his house, but just like Mom this guy sticks to the no treats at the table - NO FAIR!

Here is one of the places we like to hike - it's very pretty...And here I am helping with the cooking!!! I am the official kitchen supervisor...Notice Mom is NOT helping with the cooking - but it's okay cause afterall she is busy petting me.
Anyhow, the weather is getting warmer, boating season is coming closer and love is in the air - Mom may be uncooperative, but she does lots of fun stuff with me. Oh and tomorrow is opening day at Fenway -
GO SOX!!!!!!

Dory,
You are doing a good job of supervising in the kitchen. People drop food all the time and if you are quick you can it eat before they notice.

Wow, glad you surfaced. We were about to organize a search party. Good advice on stickin close to the kitchen. Cooks are messy, dogs are fast, equals good stuff

is his cooking good and do you get any of it after they are done at the table? That might make up for other stuff.

Woohoo for you Mom having a cool boyfriend that lets you come over to his house and gives awesome ear scratches. I guess since you're having fun while you're not blogging, then we'll excuse her for not helping. If she promises to take you on lots and lots of boating trips this summer and helps you share pictures, then maybe that will make up for the lack of posts right now.
Did you see the new season of Deadliest Catch starts next Tuesday? Mom and Dad are going to be out of town so it's my job to make sure the VCR remembers to record it so we can watch it hopefully the next night!!

Okay Dory, Where did this boyfriend come from. Did you check him out to make sure he's okay? Gotta protect that mom, because she's the keeper of the kibble. Check his tennis ball arm. That's what I always do. If they can't lob a good tennis ball in a game of fetch, they're trouble. Then here's the real trick. Pretend not to like him. Then he'll give you more treats and more food at the table and more ear scritches and more, more, more, more. Oh yeah. Boyfriends can be a blast!

I agree with Sophie! Vet the boyfriend! He should meet with your approval 100% to make sure he's good enough for your mom. :) It sounds like he's doing alright but I think the table food issue might need to be addressed.

Dory,
I'm thinking maybe you protest too much? Looks like you are getting the lovin! And you need to understand that humans like to hang out with other humans sometimes (go figure).

And yes, GO SOX!!!!

Yeah, petting and treats from 2 people is always better than from 1. And if they're not blogging, then they've got more hands free for the petting! Glad you surfaced.
